Charter Club Resort of Naples Bay, Florida

Charter Club of Naples is a nice small little resort right on Naples Bay.  It was once a Diamond property but now it belongs to Hilton Vacation Club.  We had a nice relaxing time at this resort and it was made even better because my oldest sister joined us for six nights.
The surrounding area of where it is located is prime.  Not only are you right on the water and in the marina area but you're surrounded by prime pieces of real estate.  My sister and I walked every day up and down the different streets to gawk at all the beautiful homes.  It is approximately a 10-minute walk to the beach/Naples pier or about 1 mile.

You can also walk to 5th Avenue which takes less than 10 minutes.
As mentioned the resort is small and that does come with some drawbacks such as NO fitness center to work out, which was a drag.  They did have complimentary bikes and helmets to use if you wanted some exercise.  There isn't a 24-hour front desk or staff member there, but this did not cause an issue for us.  With a small resort usually comes a small amount of amenities such as a small pool.
The resort is in need of renovation.  The rooms are stuck in the 1970s.  Everything is in good condition, it just needs refurbishment.  The rooms come complete with a 1970s bar which should be ripped out, it is a colossal waste of space.  When this gets ripped out, then the primary bathroom should be enlarged.  Hopefully when they renovate the property that's exactly what they will do.  The kitchen was well stocked and we could cook anything that we wanted to but it had an old cheap countertop with 1970s cupboards.
The size of the unit is great other than the primary bathroom.  We were more than comfortable in the 2 bed/2 bath unit.  The living room was very large with two couches but a tinier flatscreen tv.
We spent most of our time out on the very large screened-in balcony.  We spent hours and hours every day out on the balcony.  We were lucky to have a third-floor unit with a very pretty view of the water and the park in front of us.

I didn't take any pictures of the inside of this resort or the outside because we were told that they are slated for renovation and I didn't feel it would be fair to the resort, to take the pictures.  This resort is right on the marina where you can take dolphin tours, this is very convenient.  There are many things to do and see in Naples and the location can't be beat.
