La Palma Island, La Bonita of the Canaries and the Most Beautiful Place on Earth.
We got lucky and caught a rainbow in the 'Cascade' of clouds. This is a Poinsettia Tree which grow on La Palma up to 10 feet tall. They are all over the island. We buy them in little pots at Christmas time. La Palma Island of the Canary Island chain belonging to Spain off the west coast of Africa is clearly a beauty. Not too many people have ever heard of La Palma Island before and most do not know where it is. I didn't until I began researching the Canary Islands. It is surprising because it is hands down the most beautiful place that I have ever been.The scenery is intensely beautiful and it just doesn't quit. Only 85,000 Spaniards live here. I could join them but these steep cliff roads provide breathtaking beauty but they scare the hell out of me.
