San Juan, Puerto Rico

We had a one-night stay here in San Juan - post-cruise.

I got a really good deal on a hotel with Hotwire and the Sheraton hotel was about a two-minute drive from the cruise terminal. It had a great pool area and it was only two years old, so very modern. The thing I liked best was that it had free internet and I could catch up with my blog. We really lucked out and took a chance and came directly to our hotel at about 8:15 after clearing customs etc and grabbing our luggage. The hotel actually checked us in and we were able to have a nice laid back enjoyable day.

We have been to San Juan 4 other times and have toured around the Old Walled City many times. I highly recommend it, it is quite beautiful. The El Yunque National Rainforest, the Bacardi Rum Distillery and El Morro Fortress are just to name a few of the things that you can see in San Juan. I love all of Puerto Rico as well; we have stayed two other times once during Easter in Humacoa on the beach and once at Christmas in the Dorado Del Mar area.
