Marriott Harbour Club in Sea Pines, Hilton Head Island South Carolina

The Marriott Harbor club resort is a small wonderful timeshare on the sound in Hilton Head Island.  When driving up you see a very large what appears to be an old-fashioned plantation house but it's actually the main check-in area.

This was the view to wake up to.  The picture does not do it justice.

You can sit up on the porch in a rocking chair and the only thing that is missing is a mint julep in your hand.  We would have sat there probably every night to see the sun go down but the no-see-ums had a different plan for me and my flesh.  It must be noseeum season in February/ March and they were awful until I bought some bug spray at Walmart.  If you're not allergic to no-see-um bites then you wouldn't even know they were biting you.  They were not an issue for my husband.

We had a beautiful two-bedroom two-bathroom unit that had the most gorgeous views of the sound and the water.  The unit has been recently renovated and we had full-length windows all across our dining room, living room and bedroom, so our views were very expansive.

I loved the setup of the living room the dining room and the kitchen they were all extremely large extremely comfortable and designed extremely well.
The kitchen was a galley kitchen.  A galley kitchen would not normally be that exciting but this one had a lot of counter real estate with the granite and tons of area to do whatever you needed to in the kitchen.  New appliances are always nice to have and we had an ice maker in the freezer.

The dining room had a solid surface top and I couldn't even lift one end of it, it was incredibly heavy.
The living room TV was brand new very large and now all the Marriotts have Netflix access, so if you have an account you just enter it and you can watch Netflix or Prime TV.
The hallway and entryway were quite large with a place to put your belongings right when you entered the doorway.
The laundry room was ridiculously large with brand new washing machine and dryer shelving units you name it.
The spare bedroom was huge with two queen beds and its own large bathroom with a tub that opened up into the living room area.  One thing that was kind of weird was it had a very large separate sink in the bedroom area and it was just a big large area of wasted space that could have been knocked out and used for extra space in the kitchen when the renovation was done.  The style of the sink and vanity looked like it was from Motel 6.  In my opinion that was a bit of a failure.
The primary bedroom was very large with a very comfortable bed.  The bathroom was gorgeous with an extremely large shower and everything was new and very nice.  However,  they should have had a tub in there instead of putting a gigantic shower.  When they renovated they removed the tub and put in this stupid extra closet which was beside the toilet which we didn't even use.  I want a tub in my primary bedroom and bathroom unit.  Marriott and other hotels are removing tubs and I think this is a mistake.

The balcony was big enough to sit out on but as mentioned the noseeums were nasty and I still didn't have anything to spray on to keep them away from me.  As mentioned the view was absolutely terrific and it was great to wake up to in the morning.
This is a smaller resort with a tiny pool and there was some construction going on.  They were in the process of making a new and larger hot tub area.
This is a very tiny resort in the middle of Harbor Town so it's right in the marina area.  This resort is located in the beautiful Sea Pines and you do receive a car pass and wristbands that allow you to come and go from the Sea Pines area.  We did a ton of biking and we were not in the unit very much at all.  Sea Pines is super posh and beautiful to bike around.
Bike to South Beach which is a bit of a jaunt, but worth it for the scenery.  We stopped at The Salty Dog Cafe for lunch with our son.  It was really good food.  Dax and I ordered the Monday special which was one gigantor fish and shrimp taco.  The meat was delicious.  Darren ordered Gator meat and Dax had his first taste of Gator.

If you are into horses the Lawton Stables are in Sea Pines we stopped to look at them and they come right up to you, we thought to visit us.  I touched the one guy's nose and he decided to try and bite me, but I was too fast for him.  He was really pretty though.  There is actually a sign on the fence to Not touch the horses because they bite.  Who knew?

This was the cad that tried to bite me.  I am not sure if he was just pissed that I did not bring him a carrot or I am not sure what his problem was???

There is not a ton of amenities at this resort because as mentioned it's very tiny but we had already rented bikes and we had a car and we kept ourselves busy, we were barely there but the unit we had was perfect.
