Quin Friary Ruins and Ennis, Ireland

Quin Friary is in the quaint town of Quin Ireland.

It is a ruin now, free to explore for free.   If restored it would make a sublime house.

'The Franciscan Friary, one of the finest in Ireland, was founded in 1423 in the ruins of an Anglo-Norman castle.'

This friary is a ruin much like many friaires across Ireland.

We ended up going to Ennis Ireland many times because it is close to the major highway which makes it much easier to travel in Ireland then you're not driving on the dinky little roads.

Ennis has a medieval town center much like most of the cities and towns of Ireland.  We visited the center and walked around for approximately an hour and it was cute and definitely worth seeing.

We found a traditional Irish pub called Cruises and we visited and had a drink and sat by the snug which is the fireplace in Ireland.   It was very interesting we were there early in the day so there was not any Irish music playing unfortunately, that usually happens later at night.
