The Royal Sands, Cancun Mexico

Nestled along the pristine shores of Cancun's mesmerizing turquoise waters, The Royal Sands has become more than just a vacation spot for us—it's an annual Christmas tradition that we cherish. This resort, where azure waves meet the horizon, offers the epitome of comfort with its two-bedroom, two-bathroom units complete with a fully equipped kitchen and an expansive balcony that continually invites us to immerse ourselves in endless sea views.

What sets The Royal Sands apart is not just its breathtaking surroundings but the exceptional service provided by a staff that genuinely cares. The symbiotic relationship between the attentive staff and appreciative guests creates an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality, making each stay a truly memorable experience.

Conveniently positioned just a 5-minute stroll from Kukulkan Mall, the resort allows easy access to the Soriana Grocery Store, a haven for all our culinary needs. Adding to the convenience are on-site amenities like a laundromat, ensuring that practicalities are taken care of.

While the resort's small market may come with a premium, the reasonable happy hour prices, offering generous servings of Margaritas at 6 US dollars, provide a delightful balance. However, recent news of the acquisition by the Holiday Inn Vacation Club has sparked concerns, and the anticipation of potential changes looms on the horizon. Despite these uncertainties, we hold onto the hope that the essence of our beloved resort will endure.

Our journey with The Royal Resorts began in the summer of 1995, and as we reflect on the years spent creating cherished memories, we look forward to the continuation of this tradition for years to come. Here's to the timeless allure of The Royal Sands, where every visit is a celebration of the beauty of Cancun and our holiday retreat.
