The Waman is perfectly located in the heart of the city directly beside the church and the Incan Sun Temple and on the Incan walk.
The staff was very accommodating and arranged for our laundry to be cleaned for a price. We had just left the Amazon Rainforest and nothing was clean. Cuzco is colder due to the high altitude and the hotel served complimentary Coca Tea which helps with Altitude sickness.
You can get the prescription from your Doctor but it made me really dozy and did keep my headache away which I experienced at Breckenridge Colorado while skiing. The room was really pretty and had a sunroom to sit in that looked down into the sunny courtyard where complimentary breakfast was served each morning.
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very large with a gorgeously comfortable elegant bathtub which I partook in every evening. My only complaint was that the bathroom had glass doors with frosted strips only. This was not the most comfortable situation because we had our son Dax with us.

This hotel was also chosen by me because they had complimentary storage of our bags while taking the train to Machu Picchu which only allows 11 pounds. Our luggage was never weighed but I am glad that I stuck to that weight for my backpack.
It was a lovely stay and I highly recommend this hotel.
