Lost Dog Wash Trail, Phoenix Arizona
This is a great trail and very easy. The terrain gradient is very gradual even though the elevation was 2093 feet. There are several trails to choose from and we chose Taliesin Overlook to LD7. You can see Taliesin West, the house that Frank Lloyd Wright designed, but we had no idea what we were looking for in the rooftops, so I am sure we saw it but did not know it.
The trail had a few people on it, but for the most part, you felt alone, which I prefer. The trail was wide and the views were pretty.
We saw some of the healthiest and largest Saguaro Cactuses.
The desert was in bloom thanks to all of Arizona's rain.
From the Taliesin Overlook, you could see that the aqueduct was full.
The parking lot was huge and there were nice clean bathrooms with running water. I would recommend this hike, it was lovely.
