Point at Poipu a Hilton Vacation Club - Kauai, Hawaii

This was our second time staying at The Point at Poipu. Hilton took over this resort since the last time we stayed and I would say it has done a decent job so far.
The rooms were nicely renovated and they were very stylish. The flooring in unit was a nice luxury vinyl plank but it was not installed very well and there were many spots that had huge gaps in them. The kitchen should of had the half wall taken out and opened up for a peninsula with the solid surface counter top. The kitchen was well stocked and had an ice machine.

The living room was very large and so was the dining room.

Our primary bedroom was large
Our walk-in closet.

with a lovely bathroom and one of the most comfortable bathtubs that I have ever had the pleasure of using and it was narrow and filled up quickly.

We had a great balcony that opened up to both bedrooms and the living room with the nicest sturdiest sliding doors with screens that I have ever used. Undoubtedly the best part of the 2 bedroom unit was our view which was stupendous!! It just never got old and we viewed whale spouts and breaches from our balcony.

We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return because there are many things to do in the south where Poipu is. Don't miss the Green Turtles pulling themselves up onto Poipu Beach to rest for the night. They start at around 4:30 pm every day until sunset. There are also Monk Seals that are on the endangered list and they commonly sun themselves on Poipu Beach as well.  We were lucky enough to see them since there are only 35 in the Kauai waters left.
Approximately 20 Green Turtles resting that night and they are a huge animal.

She was a pretty little 4 year old female Monk Seal.

Plus the sunsets are awesome.
Shiprwreck Beach was part of our view from our balcony and there is a great hike that takes you around the point and beyond.

The vegetation is lovely at the resort.
